Why this exists

Some technologies are introduced
by the first people who understand them.

CRI is unfamiliar enough that ordinary promotion will fail if it asks the public to understand too much too quickly. The better path is to build a visible network of interpreters — people whose existing work already touches some part of the idea.

The Introduction Map is how we find those people. It asks: who has already worked near this idea from another direction? Who can explain the optical, artistic, architectural, or cultural significance?
